Here are the most important matters touched upon at the session:

  •  Iran and China , as two Asian civilizations, enjoy a long history of friendly transactions. Since the establishment of relations between the two countries in August 1971, mutual political trust and cooperation between the two countries have deepened. Over the last 50 years, the two sides have supported the other side's interests and concerns, which has led to strengthening of trust between the two countries. The fiftieth anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries is a new chapter and a new start for friendship and a short opportunity for strengthening cooperation between the two countries in various areas.
  •  The Iran-China cooperation has reached its best time , due to the following reasons: 1) The world being in need of multilateral cooperation and peace in this regard, the two countries' support for cooperation and multilaterism; 2) End of the US hegemony and the downgrade of the US economic power to the lowest level since WW II, and as a result, the world is in need of cooperation, peace and multilaterism. The expansion of Iran/China ties is not only to the benefit of both countries, but also it has a significant  role in preserving security, stability and sustainable development of the Middle East.
  •  By declaring the Iran-China 25-year Cooperation Program, the mutual exchanges and cooperation have increased in many areas. This program which is the biggest project of the " One Belt, One Road" initiative will add more dimensions to the two countries' cooperation within the initiative.
