Unveiling the historical document of the original and historical name of the Persian Gulf

On Monday, January 23, on the sidelines of the opening of the 6th Conference on the History of Iran's Foreign Relations, titled "Two Centuries of Negotiations in the History of Iranian Diplomacy," a historical document was unveiled in the presence of Mr. Dr. Amir-Abdollahian, the Honorable Minister of Foreign Affairs.

On Monday, January 23, on the sidelines of the opening of the 6th Conference on the History of Iran's Foreign Relations, titled "Two Centuries of Negotiations in the History of Iranian Diplomacy," a historical document was unveiled in the presence of Mr. Dr. Amir-Abdollahian, the Honorable Minister of Foreign Affairs. This document is a letter that Faisal bin Turki Al Saud, the grandfather of Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud, Saudi founder, wrote to Naser al-Din Shah Qajar in 1851. While emphasizing the long-standing relationship between the parties and the necessity of its continuation and continuous communication, he used the original and historical name of the Persian Gulf.
