Commemoration ceremony of Ho Chi Minh the national hero of Vietnam
The commemoration ceremony of Ho Chi Minh the hero of national freedom and a great cultural leader of Vietnam was held with the presence of Khalil Shirgholami the vice president of research and studies of the Institute for Political and International Studies Luong Quoc Huy the ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Kamal Sajjadi the president of the Iran-Vietnam Friendship Association and a number of ambassadors and officials of other countries in December 10 2023 at the Institute for Political and International Studies. Also a photo exhibition of Ho Chi Minh was opened on the sidelines of this ceremony.

In this ceremony, while honoring Ho Chi Minh, Dr. Shirgholami said that the two countries have had revolutionary records and brilliant and epic struggles against foreign interference and aggression. This ceremony is a good opportunity to honor the efforts of the leaders of the two countries in the past years to reach freedom and independence.
The ambassador of Vietnam, Luong Quoc Huy, also thanked the Institute for Political and International Studies for holding this ceremony and added that Vietnam is trying to organize various events to pay tribute in order to spread awareness of his greatness and ideals and efforts for national freedom. He continued Ho Chi Minh has made an important contribution to the education and culture of the Vietnamese people; Ho Chi Minh is a symbol of approval and acceptance of a nation that showed that nothing is more important in this world than freedom and independence.
It is worth mentioning that Vietnam was occupied by the French invaders in the middle of the 19th century, and in the Second World War, Japan expelled the French colonists from this country and occupied Vietnam itself. In August 1945, the people of Vietnam rose under the leadership of President Ho Chi Minh and ruled the power of the people. On September 2 of the same year, Ho Chi Minh officially read the Declaration of Independence of this country and announced the establishment of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.
