Joint meeting of the Institute for Political and International Studies and the Yemeni delegation

The joint meeting of the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Yemeni delegation was held with the presence of al-Dailami the Yemeni ambassador in Tehran and Abdullah Hashem Al Sayani the head of the National Documentation Center of Yemen on January 14 2024.

The joint meeting of the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Yemeni delegation was held with the presence of al-Dailami, the Yemeni ambassador in Tehran, and Abdullah Hashem Al Sayani, the head of the National Documentation Center of Yemen on January 14, 2024.

In this meeting, the two sides, while pointing to the significant capacity of cooperation in the field of documents between the two countries, expressed their interest in expanding relations in the field of documents and archives and emphasized the need to develop relations in other fields as well. Also, the memorandum of understanding on documentary and archival cooperation with the National Documentation Center of Yemen was signed by Mohammad Hassan Sheikholeslami, the President of the Institute for Political and International Studies, and Abdullah Hashem Al Sayani.

It is worth mentioning that holding document exhibitions and exchanging specialized knowledge and information in the field of preservation and archival services and document research, holding short-term courses to train employees in the field of protection, restoration, and electronic archives, publishing articles and documents in other party's publications and holding specialized meetings are the importance axes of this memorandum of understanding.
