Head of the Institute for Political and International Studies Addresses the Antalya Diplomacy Forum
Saeed Khatibzadeh Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Head of the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS) actively participated in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum on the afternoon of Saturday April 12 2025. At this forum he delivered a speech on the specialized panel titled The Role of Culture and Cultural Diplomacy in the World Today. In addition to him a number of other officials and thinkers from various countries and international organizations also participated in this panel and presented their viewpoints.
Saeed Khatibzadeh, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Head of the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS), actively participated in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum on the afternoon of Saturday, April 12, 2025. At this forum, he delivered a speech on the specialized panel titled "The Role of Culture and Cultural Diplomacy in the World Today." In addition to him, a number of other officials and thinkers from various countries and international organizations also participated in this panel and presented their viewpoints.
In his remarks, Khatibzadeh, while referring to the historical role of Iran and Iranian thinkers in the development of global civilization and culture, emphasized that constructive interaction based on commonalities and mutual understanding of differences is a key factor for strengthening cooperation and avoiding tension among nations. He also raised the necessity of novel ideation for advancing these collaborations in the field of cultural diplomacy.
On the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, the Head of the Institute for Political and International Studies also had other engagements. He held bilateral meetings with a number of officials and heads of important think tanks from different countries and also explained the positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding important international and regional developments in several television interviews.
