On Wednesday, July 16, 2025 (25 Tir 1404), a half-day meeting was held to mark American Human Rights Week, organized by the General Directorate of Women and Human Rights of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with The Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS) .

American Human Rights Week is a designated period recorded in the Iranian calendar, spanning from June 27 to July 3 (6 to 12 Tir). This observance aims to examine and expose what is considered human rights violations committed by the United States on the international stage, particularly in relation to the Islamic Republic of Iran. During this week, events such as the downing of the Iranian passenger Airbus by a U.S. warship, the chemical bombing of Sardasht, and the incident of the martyrs of 7 Tir—allegedly carried out with American support—are scrutinized.

This meeting was originally scheduled to take place during that week (6–12 Tir), coinciding with the 12-day war—an explicit and tangible manifestation of America's violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country.
