Signing of Memorandum of Understanding Between the IPIS President and the Director-General of the ICRC

Dr. Saeed Khatibzadeh Deputy Foreign Minister and President of the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS) met with Pierre Krähenbühl Director-General of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Geneva where the two sides signed and exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at expanding and implementing joint activities.

Dr. Saeed Khatibzadeh, Deputy Foreign Minister and President of the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS), met with Pierre Krähenbühl, Director-General of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), in Geneva, where the two sides signed and exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at expanding and implementing joint activities.

The MoU seeks to strengthen dialogue and cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including education and research in international humanitarian law, humanitarian policymaking, health diplomacy, peace and security, as well as other related fields.
The primary objective of this collaboration is to enhance understanding of and respect for the principles of international humanitarian law and to create broader avenues for technical and operational engagement between the two sides.
